Recovery stories

Real searches, told properly

Not a gallery of stock photos. These are actual recoveries in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, written up with the details that mattered — the tide, the hour, the mistake, the signal.

Why I write these up

Partly because people ask. Mostly because reading one of these tells you more about whether I can help you than any list of services could. If you lost a ring swimming at a Ventura beach and you're wondering whether it's hopeless, read the Mondo's story — that one was in six feet of water and I found it at 3:30 in the morning.

If you've already left town, read Irina's. If someone was holding your rings for safekeeping, read Ashley's. And if you think it might be in your beach chair rather than the sand, read Michael's.

I also post recoveries to my member profile on The Ring Finders directory.

Your story could be the next one.
